Osteoarthritis (OA) is the second-most common rheumatological issue and is the most widespread joint disease with the predominance of 22% to 39% among individuals. This is the most widely recognized reason for locomotor handicap among old people. Osteoarthritis is caused due to dynamic degeneration of articular cartilage. Articular cartilage is an avascular anural structure connected to the articular parts of the bone. The continuous inner physiological changes of cartilage occur because of piezoelectric stimulus i.e., when compression of the cartilage occurs, then there is the generation of weak electro-attractive field and in this way; it will help in recovering the cartilage. When we consider all the related issues then you will know that the articular cartilage has an extremely constrained regenerative limit because of its limited anabolic capacity and the absence of piezo-electric stimulus in osteoarthritis doesn't permit the healing of the painful joint.
Organized with the mission of being the favored choice for healing and providing good treatment the hospital set about its task of engaging in providing quality of care. And with very good reason, the hospital aspired to mirror the long and illustrious career of a titan in the field of medicine and Healthcare – Dr Sujit Chatterjee Hiranandani Hospital
From getting the ISO certification in 2006 the hospital took the giant step in 2007 to get the NABH accreditation from the Quality Council of India. This was a first not only in the city of Mumbai but also in Western region of India! Thus not a single act of our hospital coming into being remained mundane. The hospital has aspired for excellent Nursing and this led us to also the Nurses to be recognized by the quality control with Nursing Excellence in March 2016. We thus gave meaning to standardization in healthcare as the hospital has refined process that is followed. While quality has been the cornerstone of the dynamic outfit, professionally too we were well recognized in the field of arthritis treatment.
